My journey in soccer began at the age of 7, and from that moment, I was hooked. Growing up in Michigan, I played for various select and premier teams while advancing in the level of competition as each year passed which included competing in tournaments across the midwest. This dedication ultimately led me to Cornerstone University, where I played Division I (NAIA) soccer all four years, serving as captain for three while also coaching on the side.

After college, my career took me to different places, but soccer remained a constant. I continued playing in adult leagues coaching when possible, including a stint with a high school team in Northern Virginia. Since settling in Kentucky in 2021, I've been actively involved in coaching local leagues and have taken on the role of leading Trident Football Club which aligns with my current passions.

While my love for soccer hasn't waned, my heart desires to mentor developing youth. Using soccer as a tool I strongly believe we have an unique platform to motivate and instruct young players in developing character, confidence, and a sense of achievement, both on and off the field through using their various God-given talents. With three young children of my own, I have seen soccer function as an incredible instrument to teach them strategies for overcoming adversity, dealing with shortcomings, addressing conflict, recognizing their need for community and so much more. These early lessons will no doubt help shape their future skill sets well beyond the game of soccer and into their professional careers as young adults.
