Eric Tritschler

u8 Girls Head Coach

My passion for soccer began at the ripe old age of 5 when I started playing for LYSA right here in Lexington. I continued to grow that passion while playing for Lexington Football Club (LFC) and later at Lexington Catholic High School. Along the way, I had the opportunity to participate in an intensive training program with the Dutch national team coaching staff in the Netherlands. This international experience allowed me to learn European techniques and philosophies from some of the best coaches in the world. These formative years helped me develop a deep understanding and love of the game.

My transition to coaching began in 2016 when my son was 3 years old. I’ve had the pleasure of coaching various teams and age groups from LYSA, Iam3rd, indoor/futsal leagues, and now Trident, consistently fostering a positive and inclusive environment. My coaching philosophy emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement, both on and off the field

I love watching and learning from professional soccer games to continue improving my knowledge of the game. (I’m a huge Liverpool FC fan; YNWA!). I'm all about passing on my love for soccer to my players and helping them develop a lifelong passion for the sport, while emphasizing the importance of positivity, resilience, and believing in oneself.
